Dr Renée Ralph
Dr Renée Ralph is the Co-Founder of The Brilliant Foundation and an educator at the Faculty of Business and Law, School of Management and Marketing, Curtin University. For over 20 years, she has worked at a senior level, publishing creative works, managing brand and communication portfolios for new start-ups and established multi-national companies.
​
Renée's research speciality and curiosity lie in how organisations and individuals arrive at their decision point - in particular, how these decisions impact on the overall strategic cross-cultural communications, employee engagement, stakeholders, international partnerships and the wider community.
Her in-depth interviews explores the decision making processes and perspectives at Board and Senior Management level - the relationship between Western Australia, Australia and China within the resources and iron-ore industry.
The issues of cultural competence, decision frameworks that incorporate cross-cultural communications with various stakeholders are vital to a successful working relationship between the East and the West.
Her other interests include mentoring, reading, writing, swimming, walking her dog daily and camping in the wild outback. Renée is married with one child.

Alrick Dorett
Alrick Dorett is the Co-Founder of The Brilliant Foundation and has been in the advertising industry for the last 25 years. A Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) by trade, he is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TBWA Singapore and Malaysia, and the Chief Pricing Officer (CPO) for TBWA Asia.
Alrick has been part of the transformation team and operationalising those outcomes with the companies that he has worked for.
His interest lies in incorporating technology into businesses, B2B pricing, and coaching and mentoring start-ups and troubled businesses.
His other hobbies include bike riding, photography, reading and drinking a good cup of coffee (Kopi-See-Siew-Dai). Alrick is married with 2 children.

Dr Sandy Chong
Dr Sandy Chong is an expert in international market strategy, cross-cultural communication and global leadership.
She has over 15 years experience in leading overseas growth projects in Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States of America.
Her mission is to help clients succeed in new markets, improve capacity for growth, and elevate positioning for their overseas expansion.
She is the Winner of the Asia’s Top Sustainability Woman of the Year Award, USA Stevie International Business Awards for Executive of the Year, and Singapore Management Consultant of the Year.
Sandy is a Harvard Alumna and has spoken at Fortune 500, Harvard Business School, United Nations, and Special Olympics events.

Dr Vanessa
Atienza-Hipolito
Dr Vanessa Maria Atienza-Hipolito is a Director, Radiologist and Breast Imaging Specialist practising at Women's & Breasts Imaging (WBI), Cottesloe. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Curtin Medical School, Curtin University. In her spare time, Vanessa loves singing in a choir, cycling, swimming and completing marathons. She works full time and is married with two children.

Dr Don Bosco
Dr. Don Bosco started Super Cool Books in 2011 to publish original stories with his two young sons, as a home-based learning experiment. This grew into a publishing venture specialising in kidlit fiction books, developing franchisable titles in collaboration with various publishing partners.
Recently he has been focused on creating roleplaying gamebooks, also known as interactive fiction, to provide young readers with more engaging reading experiences.
His Last, Kid Running, a middle grade science fiction gamebook series published by Penguin Random House.
He has a PhD from the Department of English Language and Literature, National University of Singapore (NUS). Don is married with two children.

Dr Karen Sutherland
Dr Karen Sutherland is a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. Dr Karen Sutherland is the Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Communication (Social Media) and holds curriculum development responsibility for the Social Media Minor and Social Media Major.
Karen is dedicated to demystifying social media for local business, community, and nonprofits and connecting social media student freelancers to business-owners from the Sunshine Coast community who seek social media support.
As the 2020 winner of the Social Media Marketing Institute's Best Social Media Educator of the Year, Karen is also the author of Strategic Social Media Management - Theory and Practice by Palgrave Macmillan, co-author of Public Relations and Strategic Communication by Oxford University Press and Co-Founder and Social Media Specialist at digital marketing agency, Dharana Digital.
Alba Gomez
Alba Gomez is a presence and personal
brand coach, keynote speaker, body
language specialist and professional image consultant. Born in Colombia and based in Australia, she travels nationally and internationally for speaking, executive coaching, consulting and training.
Alba works with individuals and small groups right through to large corporations. She brings her client’s personal brand into line with their personal and professional roles, giving them the clarity and confidence to be and feel their best. Alba uses a unique, results-orientated approach, drawing on her 14 years of experience with systems and processes as an engineer.
She is fiercely passionate about helping people reconnect with who they are, so they can feel more confident and achieve great success.
Alba is a regular contributor on Australian TV, has published two e-books and shares
her expertise on various online summits, magazines and websites internationally.

Charlotte Goh
Charlotte Goh is the Executive Director of Playeum Ltd, a charity in Singapore using open-ended play and the arts to develop 21 century life skills - creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration.
Their work includes children with varying abilities. More importantly, creating (psychological) safe spaces for children’s voices and agency.
She has been in the communications, branding and marketing industry for over 16 years and now using those skills in the social sector.
Charlotte has a condition called the Tourette Syndrome and embraces daily life challenges fully recognising the power of acceptance.
She loves her active life style, mountain biking, walk-jogging and scuba diving. Charlotte works full-time and is married with one child.
Fifi Mondello
Fifi Mondello is an accomplished singer, songwriter, dancer and actress who has been performing professionally for decades. She is passionate about the Arts and the ways in which they enrich our lives and our society, and have the power to change our world for the better.
A high achiever, Fifi was Dux of the Year at high school. She was the Valedictorian of the Year at University of Western Australia (UWA), graduating with a Law Degree, First Class Honours. Fifi also completed an Arts degree from UWA, with a major in Theatre Studies.
Fifi worked in Corporate Law for 8 years before pursuing her passion in the Arts. She is a writer, producer and is the Founder and Artistic Director of Purple Poodle Productions, which produces live musical, theatrical and cabaret events.
Fifi has been involved with Perth International Jazz Festival, Harvey Harvest Festival and for several FRINGE WORLD festival seasons.
Fifi’s original music has been played on radio stations all around Australia, charting on the national AirIt charts and on ABC’s “Rage”.
Fifi continues to train in ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary and she teaches dancing. She is also a classically trained pianist. Fifi is married with one child.
Elizabeth Richards
Mrs Elizabeth Richards (nee Colgan) is a successful oil painting artist and graphic designer.

She designed The Brilliant Foundation logo and brand.
Elizabeth studied Fine Arts and Art History at The University of Western Australia. She also completed her Graphic Design degree at Curtin University.
She loves working from home, painting artworks for her clients and being a mum. Elizabeth is married with 3 children.
Josh Galvin
Josh is in his final year of schooling (2021) at Scotch College, Swanbourne completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma; a challenging and rigorous international program designed for students to excel in their studies, and encourage both personal and academic achievement.
Josh is an entrepreneur and manages his small dessert and cake catering business. Managing all areas of his business, he has learnt to operate and thrive in the competitive market place.
Josh worked closely with the co-founders to develop the Brilliant Foundation website, and assist with administrative tasks.

Dr Amy Tian
Dr Amy Tian is an Associate Professor at the School of Management and Marketing, Curtin Business School.
​
Prior to joining Curtin University, she worked at University of Western Australia, Perth and Cardiff University, England.
​
In addition, she has been a visiting scholar at universities in the People’s Republic of China, Germany, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
​
Her research is multidisciplinary and her main areas of research include human resource management, knowledge transfer, leadership, and multiculturalism.
A key theme throughout her work is how to promote positive employee work-related outcomes and organisational performance. Her work has been published in international top tier academic journals and practitioner-oriented publishing outlets such as Harvard Business Review, where she has been recognised for her expertise in Human Resource Management, leadership, and knowledge transfer.
Amy has also received multiple scholarly and teaching awards. She is married with one child.
